wow, it's been a while....

don't have much to say today but have a TON of incredible kits from mel hains to show off (along with some layouts to boot) later today. for now i have to run errands like a crazy woman and figure out how to update all of you blog readers.

Speed Scrap Layouts Rawk!!!!!!

last night i hosted a speed scrap at ess. if you were there, you know how frustrated i was. i kept getting timed out of the site and well, nancy had to take over the instructions for me. it was a little chaotic but i'm so glad that you lovely ladies stuck it out with me. just had to come here and post these lovely layouts. they are linked back to the ess gallery so please, if you have a chance, go and leave them some much deserved love.

suppose you fine folks want to see my layout too. well, it's a new kit from mel hains called autumn breeze and i'm not sure when she's releasing it but it's gorgeous and i had the layout done already. just couldn't resist working from it.



with that said, no more hosting speed scraps for me. i'll put together the directions, layouts, even the participation prizes but man alive....no more hosting for me! it's always a mess. must be that miss mess here and speed scraps just don't mix. oil and water perhaps!

i'm still working on an alpha for three little birds but i'm afraid it's just not turning out the way i wanted so guess what? NO ALPHA!!!!!!! ha, made a decision. besides, it will give me more time to start working on my next freebie kit.

come and get em....appears that you guys are all glad that i'm back to doing some freebies. well, i'm just as happy. life is crazy here in real life and this is such a great outlet for me.

with that said....i ABSOLUTELY LOVED ESS!!! trish is a fantastic person and she has some great designers over there. just a really nice, normal, standup group of people. i'll miss being a designer there but i will not be absent by any means. in fact, i'll probably be there even more now that i have free time. the challenges are fantastic and the rak's abundant. just had to give them a little plug there since trish and the gang were all just soooooo good to me....love you guys!!!!

three little birds freebie!

can i tell you how good it feels to have a full freebie kit to give away? well, pretty damn good would be a nice way to put it. freebies ROCK!!!!!!!

i am absolutely exhausted from this weekends festivities which included taking 12 little kids to a birthday party at a local place and watching them spin around on sugar highs....all while my husband decided to park his sweet ass on a chair. men...pffft!

this kit is called three little birds and if you read my post earlier yesterday, it is inspired by none other than the bob marley and the whalers song that is etched in my heart. since i was a teenager, it has been somewhat of an anthem for me. i tend to get, well, worked up. but then i am reminded that everything will indeed be all right. it just takes faith, courage, determination and occasionally three little birds to remind you....
